Our range of expertise covers minor work such as rewelding a broken cleat to cutting a 65′ x 14′ steel barge in two and extending it to 78’0″. Damage repair to steel hulls and overplating work on corroded areas or even totally rebottoming steel barges and narrowboats are all part of our daily routine.
Doodle came to us in 2017 having suffered severe damage on her mooring in Tenby Harbour during storm Ophelia. Very few parts of the vessel were unaffected and extensive repairs were required. We have replaced frames, decks and many yards of planking to return Doodle to her former glory.
